writes:hey guys, I'm 16 and I'm helplessly in love with my old sports teacher. yes, old, as in he was my primary school teacher, I'm in year ten now, and it's been around 3 years since I started loving him. He's about 10 years older than i am and he is totally single, and i obviously don't go to primary school anymore, I'm legal age for where i live, and i don't think there is anything illegal if we started up something.But i only knew him for a year, and i've seen him only a couple of times this year. I'm finding it really hard to keep in touch with him. I love everything about him, his incredibly blue eyes, the way he looks upwards for a second before he laughs, how his breath smells so sweet. We have heaps in common and chat about anything and everything when we do see each other. His eyes are so blue they just make me want to spill all my deepest secrets to him. i started helping him teach some of his students basketball. i play it as well, and it started as part of my school community service, but i continued because i fell so in love with him. This started back when i was in year 7, but i had to stop helping him teach at the end of year 9 because of other commitments. He's always so friendly and chatty with me, but i don't know if thats all he's doing, just being friendly. He always touches my arms, and brushes against my hand. He comes up behind me and puts his hands over my eyes, and says *guess who* in my ear. His voice makes me want to melt. the things he does to me get flirtier as i get older, and i really wish that he wants me back. When i told him i had to stop helping him, we actually kissed, it was nothing special. he simply said "thanks for helping me, you're amazing, those kids love you, and i mean i like you too," and then he pecked my cheek, and then my lips. and said "thankyou." like it was just a thankyou kiss, not an i like you kiss.i know you probably will all tell me oh you're so young, you don't know what love is, blah blah blah, well i do, and it's actually eating me up inside. I have NO idea what i should do about it, or how i can keep in touch with him. any suggestions about what i can do?!

 You can't do anything until your out of education and are working... Teacher who has a relationship with a student (even one who is not at his school) may find himself unemployed as parents will be frightened of him.

 Even though you may be "legal" it is still very illegal for an adult to mess with you and very illegal for a teacher, whether it was a former teacher or not. But thank you for being today's teacher crush posting.

 Good-luck finding anyone who wants to help you with this. The teacher-student relationship is almost as taboo as it gets. You aren't even 18 yet...
