I haven't done anythhing I would count as cheating (yet). I haven't had sex with my girlfriend because she says she's not ready. This is fine, but sex is a big part of a relationship to me and I can feel I'm getting close to cheating. Even if we did start having sex I'm not sure I'm interested anymore. reader, anonymous, writes (25 June 2009): I was in a similar situation a few years ago, my girlfriend wasn't ready and I was, we broke up so that I wouldn't cheat on her and it gave her time to get ready for a big commitment like that.
