I am guessing that u r nervous about asking girls out and this comes across.will put them off.as u get declined more u will get worse.just relax and allow it to happen naturally.funny - but when i was younger and out 'on the pull' i rarely succeeded when looking for it.most guys agree with this.Always happened when i wasnt - usually me being approached when unexpected (which was unexpected in itself as im no hunk).but importantly i was bein 'just me'.

 dont worry, your 17, cant even (legally) go in places like pubs and clubs, when your 18 all new ways of meeting women will open up, youve got ALOT of time to meet a girlfriend, live life as it comes, one will come along, proberly out of the blue.

 Unfortunately this is all part of the growing up process having to deal with knockbacks. As you get older it will get easier. Don't feel down about it, it is their loss not yours, you will find the perfect girl most likely when you are not even looking for her, thats the key, don't appear desperate to the opposite sex. When you go out with your mates act like you are spoken for.
I always found that when i was single and looking for a girl i could never find one, and as soon as i got a girlfriend and i was out with my mates i had girls chatting to me, i guess because i was not persuing anyone.

You'l find that you'll meet some-one when you least expect it!
Don't go out of your way, to ask any girl that takes your fancy, if your out, just act cool, and relaxed, a girl is more atracted to a guy who isn't pouncing on her, then some-one who seems almost needy.
There probably is a few girls interested already, and remember when you do ask some-one out, this doesn't neccessarily mean a girlfriend. just have fun!
