reader, anonymous, writes (28 March 2008): Assuming your cousin is female and he makes comments that you feel may be signs that feelings are attached then you need to speak to him about it.
Im not sure there is any harm in it but if it makes you feel uncomfortable or inadequate then it needs to be addressed.
At your age perhaps he would make a move on her but you need to nip it in the bud now before that happens. Also try and remember that good looks and nice qualities can be appreciated without him feeling anything for her. Often my boyfriend will comment on attractive women, I understand that he will find other people attractive but I am the one he comes home with.

You need to tell him that his talking about your cousin is really annoying you and ask him to stop. If he respects you he will do this.
You don't state if your cousin is male or female or the context that he goes on about them in, but I'm assuming that your cousin is female and you think maybe he fancies her??
