I'd like to me more than 'good friends', but I don't think he's getting the hint.

Hi, i'm 17 and in need of some love guidance.

There's this guy I've known for over a year and we get on great. We talk/see each other on a daily basis, flirt, know tons about each other, make each other laugh (sometimes we tease but we both know it's all playful)and we've been known to run up a high phonebill after talking to each other for over an hour or 2.

I've been giving off subtle hints that I want to be more than 'close friends' but feel like my attempts are all failures - Someone please help and tell me if you think he's interested.

cloudnine-andbeyond agony auntwell as i have discovered, guys do not get hints terrifically well, but seeming as he is talking to you on the phone for over an hour.... well that does seem promising, if you feel confident enough then ask him about it. just watch out that he doesnt see you as just a friend... but normally guys dont talk to their mates on the phone for hours =]

if you really want to know if he is interested in you just tell him how you feel about him and if he feels the same way he should tell you, but if he doesnt feel the same way then it still will be fine at least he will know how you feel about him!
