A female Canada, anonymous writes:

This is not really a romance question but I know there are some people here who could maybe help me with this. I am working on a government committee and I have written some resolutions which were voted the best in the area that I live in. I travelled out of town at my own expense and presented them twice and twice they were the best of the bunch. The committee I am on is all guys and while I like them, there is for sure an old boys network there. Although mine were number one in the province I noted that they put my in the number two spot and ensured that a big wheel on the committee got credit for producing the number one although he was not even close. His policies were way down on the final results. I am so discouraged by the hypocrisy and lack of integrity here. I have emailed them and requested why this happend and they have not responded. I am for sure working in a mans world here and feel I cannot win and am looking for another job. I am not treated badly but my hard won accomplishments are overlooked time and time again. I am not going to change this but was hoping things would change. Is the flee option the best here?. Why would these so called decent guys overlook my accomplishments like this..I cannot figure out why. Thank you to all who take the time to answer this.

Get the stats that prove you were number one, create a fake hotmail address and then send it to the biggest local press names with a little note asking them if they want to ask why the committee lied, and if sexism is an issue. Throw in a red herring about how the guy who got the credit is evil or something.

At the very least they will have to release a statement saying that they love you and you are great.

Those figures must be available to lots of people so they can't trace it back to you. It could have been anyone who has a grudge against the guy who they said was number one.

Good Luck!! xx
