writes:Hi. I was wondering why no guys ever ask me out. I feel sort of neglected most of my friends have boyfriends or have had one before yet I am left out. I get really good grades am a brunette with brown eyes and am 5'5". I am pretty athletic (I'm not overweight) and people I know are always saying I'm pretty. I make it a rule to myself never to say anything mean about anyone but I am a little shy. I try to talk to people but if they don't seem interested I'll give up and be discouraged. By the way I do not wear much make up at all maybe a little eyeliner or mascara and am pretty conservative. I don't wear ridiculously short tight or low cut clothing.

okay, you sound like such a lovely girl! & you actually remind me of me. i never wore any make up, i never dressed the way any of my friends were dressing, i was comfortable in myself. but i wanted a boyfriend so bad!
looking back, i wonder why i wasted so much time worrying.
you just need to wait, you've got all of the time in the world.. i'm sure you are a very pretty girl & you have, by the sounds of it, a lot going for you!
girls never notice when guys look at them, even when we're looking out for it. we never see. so i'm pretty sure there are plenty of guys who think you look nice. they're either too stupid or too shy to say anything.
just because your friends have boyfriends, it really doesn't matter. because they won't be with them forever! you'll get someone, you just have to wait. & don't do what i did, go for jerks just for the sake of it!
i'm in a 2 year relationship with my boyfriend & we're very happy. you just got to keep confident & someone will come to you. keep going the way you are because you sound so lovely.

 Boys hey dont know a good thing even if it smacked them in the face. Are you really that interested in boys now? Or do you just want to do it because your friends are? Focus on you for now and then boys will come later! And if there is some one you really like then ask them. It is not always the boys job to do the asking! :)
