writes: I've only ever 'had sex' once and i regretted it from start to finish. all my friends was saying things like" least your not the only virgin now!" but truth is how do i put this....i don't know if he broke me in or no...i was very very drunk and can only remember feeling pain for about a second and it wasnt that sore...could this be that im not feeling it because i was in no state to be doing what i was doing anyways or is it more likely that he didn't break me in??

reader, anonymous, writes (2 May 2006): virginity is overrated and to be honest i think there's too much emphasis on 'losing it'. it really isn't a big deal. i know it's hard but you should try and put it behind you. i can't really say for certain as i wasn't there but from what you've said i imagine you're probably technically not a virgin anymore. what people say about 'oo you're not a virgin anymore' really isn't that important if you think about it. when you have sex with someone you really love and feel how amazing it is you'll look back on your first experience and laugh, honest! hope this helped x

 If his penis entered your vagina then technically you are not a virgin. Please don't be upset about this, just make sure next time you make love it is not under the influence and is with somebody you love. If you didn't *make love* then you have that to look forward to sharing with the person you love at a later date.
