A female United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Hey there, ok so there is this guy that i really like and we were kissing buddies and that wasnt good because i actually started liking him and i decided to tell him how i feel and when i did, he had told me that he liked me too. But there was one big problem, he was moving in 1 month and his new house is like more than an hour away. We both hate long distance relationships so we knew it wasnt gonna work out, other than that we would have been together. He told me today that he barely found out that he was moving right down the street so now could be our chance. I want to tell him if there's still an "us" but at the same time i dont want to look desperate. What do i do/say and how long do i wait to do/say that ?? Thanks Alot !!! :)

johannabanana agony auntMaybe you just need to take things slow. Be casual. Say things like we should hang out. Or So what are you up to this weekend? Well if your not busy we should make some plans etc.

Don't jump straight to lets be an us. Just take things slow if you guys hit it off from hanging out and he likes you he we come to you about being official. Give it time make it a friendship... If you guys are alone see how he reacts to you.
