I am definitely not super model material, but I modelled when I was around 20 and did a couple of commercials to earn money on the side (not much!) while I was in college. That was about it! You should be able to do both. And modelling, when you start out, shouldn't be so demanding that it requires all your time. There were many more qualified models than me, and they had to actively seek jobs like MTV gigs and commercials so they had plenty of time. No one I knew just quit everything else at the time! I would suggest you change your major in college and just make sure you get that degree before you plunge into something where you have such high hopes because the odds aren't in your favor. Good luck!

Only you know what is best for yourself.
You can get a U education later on.
Doing something against your interest will kill all joys.
Contact those modeling agencies or you get spotted by those talent head hunters.
Good luck to you.

I modeled from the age of 16 to 19 and stopped due to been preganant with my son. I continued to do a little after. Its really not an easy buissness. If possible i would try to still study at the same time. Modeling doesnt last forever and so then at leat you have a carea to continue with once its finished.
There are many ways to get into the buissness. Check your iternet for agencys and contact them. Send in your portfolio if you have one and all it is then is a waiting game. You also have to decided what industry you would like to pursure in. Ie glamour, fasion, catwalk etc.
There are height requirements for catwalk. Males been 6ft and females 5'8''. Although if you have the knowledge and the front to be able to shine like kate moss for example who is below the size required then you should be ok.
I hope this has helped.
