All you can do is keep trying to get over him.
Spend a bit less time with him and WANT to get over him.
Think about him doing unattractive things.
It's sad but the only solution.

 Hi, well it sounds like there is nothing that you can do i am afraid, maybe if the circumstances were different i.e; him being straight then you would be able to work on the relationship and build a more closer one.
However, because he is gay, the chance of this happening are overuled. Considering the age he is (if he is the same age as you) then his decision toward being gay may not be as stable and definate than if he were older and wiser. He may just be figuring it out for himself at the moment!
