I still want her in my life after a year apart

A male United States age 51-59, anonymous writes:

ok i really miss this girl now ...she ant be said my ex girlfriend but we came so close once upon a time that it was even not less than that ...it was a long distance relationship ...

long story short ,we have had a lot of fun in the past and we shared a brilliant closure...it can be named as infactuation or whatsoever ,idk....i went to her place a couple of times and we enjoyed very much and shared some very beautiful moments.we never chatted on phone but on messenger and gradually a lot of misunderstandings occured which were left unresolved and also self esteems and ego took their place and she was never actually bothered about me due to her busy schedules or whatever whereas i was rotting and stalling on the matter...i assume you know the nature of long distance relationships...i never saw the equal effort from her side and decided to ignore her and ultimately everything faded and has finally ended up since a year and we are completely out of each others lives....

now i miss her badly and want her back as a friend for good old times sake ....she was a sweetheart as a friend and this void in my life is becoming more painful ...i deleted my facebook because of her a month ago out of some foolishness or anger but i want to rejoin it ...should i go back ? will this bring down my self esteem or make me seem desperate ? i am sure we cn be good friends in the long run and i am pretty good in working it out without seeming a despo ..but do i really need to go back or move on and forget about her ?

thanks .......

you know what, ask the girl's opinion when it comes to the opposite sex because they know what a girl feels. As a girl, my suggestion is to reach out to her. Just be friendly again. If you want this girl, pursue her but just take it slow and don't overdo it. Be patient.

If she responds positively, then there's a big chance she will accept you in her life again. If not, start to move on. I tell you, most girls wont make a move because they expect the guys to do it. You might not know, she's just waiting for you to make your move again and it turns out you are waiting for her too. In short, you will be both waiting for each other and for this you will lose the opportunity to get back together.

Goodluck to you!

forget about her, if she wants you in her life she will come for you. Im sorry but thats how women are, dont believe in the cliche' shit in movies where the guy chases the girl and she falls for him lol 90 percent of girls dont like that, unless there in love with you but i i highly doubt your girl is, so move on for now and if she wants you she will contact you. goodluck
