if he does then there is a chance if not then you can give yourself closure and move on to find someone else whom will like you and create a relationship with them.
the only way really you can get over him because not knowing is worse than anything really i mean what if he does like you and he thinks exactly like you what if she doesn't like me? so on and so forth he could be thinking exactly like you but you'll never know and won't be able to move on until you know.
if you don't want to ask him get a friend to ask him ? or speak to him on msn or facebook and ask him on there rather than face to face it's the only way you'll be able to get over it because i mean years down the line you could be thinking what if? for a long time and because you never took the chance to ask.
so ask him whether or not he does like you. you never know he may feel the same way but you don't know until you ask :) and if he doesn't then you know you that there will be no sort of relationship and can move on :)
