writes:I like this guy and i cant stop thinking about him, but the thing is i know he doesnt like me back, but i cant get over him, no matter how many other guys i have found, i still only want to be with him, but he doesnt feel the same, i dont understand why he doesnt like me, and i keep kidding myself that something can actually happen with him, but it wont. the more time i spend away from him the more i think about him. this is not like me at all im usually the one rejecting people even though i really hate it. i dont know what to do. i cant stop thinking about him. i shouldnt feel this way about him but i do.  None of us can make someone feel the same way back, which is a shame because life and love would be so easy if we could.
You really need to fill your time with other interests and put thoughts of him to one side the best you can, sometimes we want what we can't have more same as the love we can't have always seems to hurt more.
You've got to get over him and whenever you think of him you need to shut these thoughts out and find something else to occupy your mind, it's not easy but everything we go through in life is a new learning curve.

u know what? im in the exact same position at the moment with a girl.my advise, is just get out there and do you best to forget him, it wont be easy, no one said it would be, but you need to turn your head away from him and look to the future, chalk him up to experience and get on with your life :) good luck!

I think what makes you want him more is that he don't want you,that makes you want him more.Just move on don't drive your self stupid cause you ain't gonna get nowhere.As soon as you act like you don't want him he will start to want you.

reader, anonymous, writes (15 October 2006): everyone goes through this at some point..well most do..u jus gota deal wid it..its going to be hard for ya...bu one day ull realise dat it was prob for the best..people always want something even more when they know they cant have it..i say u ignore dis guy...try n put him at the back of ur mind..focus ur attention elsewhere..go out wid the gurls..enjoy ur fave hobbies..focus on ur career. ull meet the right sum1 when u least expect too! freind x
