 Do you get out and about with friends and activities? You need to make sure the guys can FIND you. If you stay highly visable then sooner or later some guy is bound to notice you. Don't hole up somewhere, join clubs, do volunteer work, get involved with community activities. It will happen for you.

reader, anonymous, writes (30 December 2008): Life probably doesn't seem fair when you can't seem to get a boyfriend let alone a boy to kiss you. I could say that you could wait for your time to come but you seem to be getting well into your age and it is something you want to wait around for anymore. Don't tell a boy that you haven't kissed someone before as they may feel intimidated by this only tell someone once you been with them for a while but other then that I don't feel there is a need to reveal this. If you see someone you like or your attracted to be yourself and hang with them on several occasions until you finally feel you are getting close. Find out if they like you or they will eventually tell you themselves then just go in for the kiss. You could just kiss them on the cheek on the end of a night out and I'm sure it'll progress. Give up the belief your never going to kiss a boy or have a boyfriend and start the belief that this kiss is just around the corner and you don't have to wait much longer. Forget that your shy and innocent just be who you are and never give up hope. PS. you aren't strange.
