A female India age 41-50, anonymous writes:

Hi,

Im in love with a guy from 6 years now, n he does too. We were preparing ourselves for marriage and all of a sudden things went wrong completely.

Even though our parents were against it, we had made all arrangements to get married. But I did a mistake by meeting the guy whom my parents had seen, with just an intention of good friendship. I didnt disclose it to my boyfriend and he got to know things and has made up his mind to leave me.

The guy whom my parents had seen liked me and was being good to me and no way harmful. My guy had warned me not to keep in touch with him, but I did with confidence that im not wrong. I thought I would make my guy insecure if i had told him. But I had no intentions of leaving my guy. Infact I wanted to tell my love stort with him n finish it off, but before that things went horribly wrong.

Im not able to convince my boyfriend, he's deeply hurt.

Please help. How to win back his trust.

A male reader, anonymous, writes (28 September 2008):

Trust is a one chance saloon. You need to do what you say, be where you say, with who you say, when you say.

When you deceive once, then how do you know when you are speaking truth or lie?

The only suggestion i can make is reject the guy your parents chose infront of the guy you want to marry.

Bit extreme i know, but it's all i can think would work.

Good luck
