writes:When my mom talks its like nails on a chalkboard.Her voice is irritating and sometimes shell just talk when Im trying to concentrate.I try asking her to stop talking because Im trying to think,but that doesnt work,so Ill tell her to shut up which makes it wors.Id really just like some peace and quiet,but my dad always says bad things about me which makes my mom yell at him and my litle brother is 6 and in that coment on EVRYTHING stage,and my BFF calls all the time,and Icant find a moment to myself!Help! Some people find that listening to music through headphones is a good way to escape. Lock your bedroom door and lie down and close your eyes and imagine a whole other place.
The other thing you could do is get out of the house, leave your phone and take the dog for a walk, or just walk to the shop or the park or the river, or go on your bike.
You could also get into a really good book. Turn your phone off, lock your door, and read some kind of epic fantasy that takes you somewhere completely new.
