I miss having him as my boyfriend. How can I move forward?

A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Me and my boyfriend broke up yesterday. I know it won't sound like much but he really was my bestfriend beforehand and I don't know what to do now. I've gone through the break-up maturely and we've spoken on the phone and everything is fine, and we'll stay friends. The thing that bothers me is I'm going to miss him so much and we both went through a lot of shit to be together (I dated his bestfriend and he dated mine) and everything was perfect.

Help me with what to do next please?

fi_the_tree agony auntGive yourself chance to miss him, don't bottle things up. Talk to your friends and ask them to keep you company when you're feeling down. In time things will get easier.

Keep yourself busy too, throw yourself into your schoolwork. You'll get there!

Good luck :) x
