Question - (10 December 2007) 1 Answers - (Newest, 10 December 2007)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *nonyous writes:

hi. About 2 months ago, i misunderstood what my female flatmate said about my other male flatmate. I took it in a negative way and went and told my male flatmate what she was saying behind his back. Today, however, it has all come out into the open, and both of my flatmates came into my room, after discussing this, and started to accuse me of making up lies to break them up.

I tried to explain that i misunderstood and took what she was saying in the wrong way, but they still don't believe me. I don't know what to do because they are both ganging up on me. i realise and admit that i made a mistake, but they have both kind of made a decision about it and think that i made it up on purpose to break them up so that i could get off with the male flatmate and have him all to myself. I don't know what to do and exactly what to say to clear this up Please help.
