A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My boyfriend is a very hot-tempered person. A lot of times he can be disrespectful and rude. He's very jealous and possessive and always thinks i'm lying to him. He loves me alot but at the same time he thinks very differently. We're always arguing and fighting and breaking up. Many times, when we fight, he starts smoking or drinking and it really bothers me. I love him but we're completely different people. What should i do?

blazee agony auntbabe look at it this way,

if your willing to accept his ranting and raving, look at him as your other half, completeling your life.

if you want someone thats more quiter, who wont drink and will allow you to live you own life.. go someonewere else.

by what you have said it looks like you two do love each other however can a relationship be made on built on arguments? if you go further how will you be able to raise a child in such surroundings?

he dosent sound like a very stable person if he smokes and drinks everytime you brake up, what happens if theres a problem in the future? or he loses it one day?

babe if you love him stay but if you dont, walk away from it, theres 6 billion people out there, and you've still got your life, why spend it arguing? xx
