I love masturbating to strangers on webcam, I want to know if this is normal? I'm a girl, and it really turns me on. I never show my face or give out any information about myself so it's safe but is this really abnormal?

I'm a guy and I like doing the same thing. I think it's just that I enjoy both watching someone masturbate for me and get off thinking how horny I am making them.

its ok to do that as long you wont show your face and tell where you live etc you must think of it this way they dont know who you are where you from and they cant touch you etc :)

Tisha-1 agony auntJust to add to Cerberus' point about things being like 'fingerprints'... I think what you post on the web, either via video or other types of posts, has a geographical stamp on it in terms of the IP address.... Ever wonder how they swoop in and suddenly know what a perpetrator of a crime has done on the internet? He leaves cyber footprints.

I would spend a bit more time learning about that.... you don't sound particularly prepared if you find out there's a way this can be traced back to you.

Not really, exhibitionism is quite normal. I don't see any difference between that or a pop video, beauty pageant etc. A lot of people like to show off their "talents", you're not hurting anyone and as long as you're okay with those being recorded and uploaded to the internet and the possibility that someone may recognize your body parts or background furniture then you can do what you like.

They're always going to be online and trust me, my girl has made me some videos I'd recognize her bits and pieces anywhere, vaginas are like finger prints OP they're all unique and spend enough time there and you could pick them out in a line up. There is a very real possibility of an ex, future or current boyfriend finding them and then all it takes is posting a picture of your face beside it. That would be just as bad as the real thing. There is large culture of people putting girls like you's facebook profile pictures and details beside nudes they posted anonymously online.

A female reader, Honeypie United States + , writes (24 July 2012):

Honeypie agony auntI don't know if I would call it "abnormal", but I will call it unhealthy and actually perhaps even unsafe.

And even if you don't show you face, trust me, a person with just a little computer skills can track you down. And.. ANYONE who looks at you getting off... can be recording you and either posting it anywhere or make money off you. So you are lulling yourself into thinking this is safe.

Is it the being anonymous that turns you on or knowing that random dudes get off looking at you?
