He's had sex with quite alot of people and we're not even 16 yet.The other day, I got drunk and we almost had sex, and now it seems he's gone off me. He doesn't talk to me as much and doesn't make an effort to meet up with me.What shall I do??? Most of my friends think he's just using me.I don't want to get over him, because I like him too much.

reader, anonymous, writes (8 November 2006): Hiya i TOTALLY know how you feel, you know theyre bad for you but the way you feel when things are going good is just too good to lose. im kind of in a similar dilemma, but the thing with the guy your on about is that if he hasnt even shown any affection to you after that drunken night then hes a loser. the fact that hes had sex many times wouldnt bother me, and i wouldnt deal with it in words - the fact that hes not even bothering to flirt or whatever would not only tell me the bad news that hes not interested, but your term 'man whore'is totally true - girls dont seem to mean much to him, your putting all your heart into this - do you think hes got all this on his mind? i know its a harsh situation, but beleive it or not theres boys out there that FEEL for girls, not just in the groping way. good luck x x x

If you think of him as a "man whore" and your friends tell you he just wants to use you, what does THAT tell you about the sort of "friend" he'd be?
Besides, you shouldn't be getting drunk, maybe not even drinking alcohol at all at your young age. Stay away from this boy. He's no good - if you DID sleep with him you could get pregnant and/or get a sexually transmitted disease.
Is your life worth that?
