A male United Kingdom age 30-35, * dodgy bloke writes:

OK, so I'm a normal goofy guy, and i make people laugh and I like this girl who is totally crazy (a good kind though). She has been having a tough time at the moment and she keeps crying on my shoulder at school. Her boyfriend just dumped her and I want her now. But, I think she is way out of my league. We talk a lot but I think I am well and truly in the friend zone, so I bet she doesn't think about me the way I think about her. I'm really stumped here, I either ask her and its good, or I get shot down and it would be awkward. I'm pretty shy and i have not been with anyone in 2 years, and that kills me. Please help !!! what do I do??

anoms agony auntdude even if she did like you it wouldnt be a good time for anything to happen, crying on your shoulder would be the least of your worries, shes clearly upset up about the break up and wouldnt be in the right mind to give you an honest opinion of how she feels about you, but support her and weather the storm, you could be the first person she thinks of when she see's the light again, gudluk.

A female reader, elizabeth12 United States +, writes (17 February 2009):

elizabeth12 agony auntDont panic.

She just lost her boyfriend so you should let her some time to process the whole thing.

And why do you think she is out of your league? There is no men-league, either she likes you as a friend or as a lover.

Listen to your heart, you will know when she processed the whole thing. Then, you should invite her to the cinema or the café, girls especially like things like meeting in cafes and wakling and shopping xDD.

I hope i helped.

Oh, and dont be hasty.
