 i think you should tell him the truth! Because no relationships can be built on lies, you always get found out in the end. Tell him how you were scared he would run a mile if he knew you were a virgin but you only lied because you really like him and wanted to make him happy. Hope s'all okay when the truth comes out, and if it's not and he does 'run a mile' it obviously wasn't meant to be x x x

The first time doesn't just "hurt", it is often excruciatingly painful and you will probably bleed. Lying to him about it and having to try to make excuses and cover up the amount of pain will just make it more awkward. If he knows that it's your first time, he can try to make it more comfortable for you and go at an appropriate pace. You also need to tell him just because he deserves to know the truth. Taking a girl's virginity is a significant event, and something that some guys are not willing to do because of the emotional attachment that inevitably occurs. If you are too embarrassed to openly and honestly discuss topics like this, you probably shouldn't be in a sexual relationship with him.
