I just want some advice on how to get over him.

Question - (8 February 2011) 1 Answers - (Newest, 9 February 2011)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I like a guy who has girlfriend, and he likes me too.

He liked me before he started dating his girlfriend and I liked him but I had my doubts about him, mainly about differences in culture and I was hesitant because I'd never had a relationship like that.

The girl he's with now is from the same culture as me and they seem to be going strong but he still comes round flirting and acting like before he started dating this lass.

Lately I've avoided contact with him because I know it's not good for me, I sometimes get tempted to "fool" about with him anyway I would never ever think of doing this with any other guy I liked who was taken but I have with him. It's sort of turning me into a bad person.

I just want some advice on how to get over him. I see him every day so the whole avoidance thing is very difficult, I'd just like to have a normal relationship with him but he makes it very difficult. What should I do?

Also should I just tell him to stay away?
