Hey:) Ok i have a boyfriend of 4 yrs and were both 21 yrs old. Lately we havent spend any time together and i feel lonely and need some attention and he is not really making a effort. So a few days ago i met this guy and we had alot fun togethet and i felt good atoumd him ( i never thought i could feel this way if it wasnt my current boyfriend). I was smiles all day long until i got back to reality.... But i cant stop thinking about him!!! He gave me his number and im wondering should i call or text him?? I do want to see him again... Do you think it would hurt to call?? Without my boyfriend thinking anything of it?? Oh by the way im a virgin and out of the 4yrs i been with him we havent done anything sexual... But i really want to try somethin with this new guy i met. And for some reason i feel that i wont regret it. I dont know why im like this.... Sorry if it was long but i would apperciate your opinions on this. Thanks!

A male reader, Illithid United States +, writes (6 April 2010):

Illithid agony auntYou want to give your virginity to this other guy without your boyfriend knowing about it? Just know that this will almost certainly end your current relationship. No only would you be cheating, but you'd be giving your first sexual experience to this other man! When (yes, "when") your boyfriend finds out, he'd be devastated. Relationships don't generally survive that.

If your feelings for this new guy are that strong, then break up with your boyfriend before moving on. If you don't want to leave your boyfriend, then you need to distance yourself from this new guy. You can't have both.
