I've been with my boyfriend for about 1.5 years, friends for two years beforehand. Lately I've found myself having stupid little schoolgirl crushes on other guys, and it's scaring me.I'd never cheat on my boyfriend and I would NEVER give him up for someone else because I love him, very much. Or at least, I thought I did. Do these crushes mean that I really don't love my boyfriend? Because if I did, I wouldn't be looking at other men, right? It's really startled me. There's no reason for me to be having crushes on other guys. The relationship is fantastic. So what's going on? How do I stop this? Should I tell my boyfriend?

you have been with your bf for 1.5 years right? what has happened is that you have gotten so comfortable in your relationship. it's like eating your favourite meal everyday- you forget how good it really tastes, and the excitement of eating it slowly becomes lessened.
whether or not you still love your bf is something you need to take sometime and really think about. personally i think you still do. sweety, you're only human. sometimes we cannot control our feelings. the fact knowe you could never cheat on him just shows how deeply you care for him. what you need is some excitement in your life, to spice things up.
one way to stop these crushes is to rediscover the all the wonderful things about your boyfriend that that less visible right now.
hope you dont mind my asking, but what exactly attracts you to these other people? is it their appearance? the way they talk? their characters?
hope that helps a bit.
