AngelofLove agony auntYou may want to try hypnotherapy. Different methods work on different people of course.

It takes a while to get used to, took me five years of driving from A to B quiet roads before I attempted the motorway so you are not alone.

Take it slowly, at your own pace and if you feel anxious whilst driving, stop over and breath in/out deep 10 times before driving off again. Unfamiliar roads can be scary because you cannot predict what is ahead. Practice will make it easier.

Good luck x

Ponungalungb agony auntDo some meditation and relaxation before you get in the car. Once in the car, play music, sing along, think about doing something you enjoy doing, like exercising, sunbathing, golfing, whatever.

I hope this helps. Good luck!
