Part of me agrees with post below. The other half says that you knew when you took this guy on, he had a child that he needed to look after.
I think that at your age, you'd do better not to be with someone who has a child. The child must always come first, and that means that you will effectively be second. Unless you can handle a man looking after his child, it just won't work.
