A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

HEy i'm 20 and a virgin!

when i was younger i never wanted children always said i wouldn't i work at a solicitors and one of the girls at work had a baby and when i seen him omg! my heart melted and i knew then on i wanted to be a mother.

well anyways i always get broody when i see children as i am sure most people do.

well recently the past two nights i've had dreams about having babies.

now the first one i was given this baby to look after and i left it in the house because it wasn't my baby to look after ( i wouldn't do that in real life just what happened) only left the room and when i got back the room was a MESS! and the baby was found in a cupboard playing with some toilet roll or something i don't know. anyways in my dream my sister yelled at me saying i couldn't leave a child by itself and i said but it's not mine to look after.

anyways last night i had a dream i had a baby and i was changing its nappy weird again i know but this time it was my baby and i was looking after it.

Does anyone have any idea what this could mean?

it's really strange i've never dreamt about having kids before.

i'm a little freaked out as to what it may mean whether it may mean i am ready to have a child i don't know.

can anyone help.

Thank you.

Fatherly Advice agony auntThanks for writing back. I understand how your lives experiences tie into these dreams you have had even more than your recent experience with a baby. The dreams seem to be more about your emotional needs than about having your own baby.

I think That having children is a great part of life, as we mature we find it easier to share our lives with a partner and children. You seem to have your head on straight, and understand how much children will change your life, and how much their needs will become your needs and your duty. Not something to be rushed into blindly. On the other hand not an experience you would put off untill it is too late to have.

This is verified as being by the original poster of the question

perhaps i should mention i lost my mum when iwas young and i've always wanted a baby girl i wouldn't mind either way but i think i would like a girl because i'd love to be there for her and be a mother to her like my mum was to me and always be there for my little girl throughtout and get a cuddle from her just to feel her cuddle me

whether that's to do with it i don't know.

thanks though :)

Fatherly Advice agony auntYour recent experience with a baby may be all that the dream is about, But babies are a dream symbol and it would be worthwhile to look them up at Dreammoods.com . It's too much for me to write it down all here but much of it applies to many people at your age.
