I don't want to call him 1st but feel he should call me

Question - (22 September 2010) 2 Answers - (Newest, 25 September 2010)
A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I met someone online and we met briefly for a quick introduction to each other. During that time we expressed interest into seeing each other again. At the end of our conversation he asked me if I was going to call him later in the evening. I replied by saying: "oh I'm supposed to call you" he replied by saying:"Does it matter?" I kind of looked at him like it did matter and he understood and replied:"yes it does". I did not call him that evening but he texted me the next day to tell me "Good Morning". I want him to call me because I want to make sure he 's interested and I don't want to look too desperate either. What should I do? Call him or wait for his call?

Answer his texts by saying lovely to hear from you. He needs some encouragement by the sound of it.
