writes:I am going out tonight so is my Girlfriend.I was m going to stay in with her cause she asked me too but I feel as if I had to go to my friends party as he is 21. Now my girlfriend is going out with her cousin who gets about and she will have a better night than I will. I cant even be bothered with this 21st cause I think it will be rubbish. I don’t like the idea of her going out with her cousin either as her cousin is single and is out on the pull. If there are two of them and one is my girlfriend she is going to be getting hit on all night by lads who feel like they have to talk to her. That is how I met her. It winds me up. If she is in a group its not so bad but why do lass’s go out just 2 of them?What can I do?

reader, anonymous, writes (5 September 2009): Sounds a bit selfish that you refused to stay in with your girlfriend so you could go to your friends 21st, and now she's decided to go out, you don't like the idea. Obviously she didn't want to be stuck in the house on her own, and nor should she. Relationships are based on trust amongst other things, and i think you need to learn to trust her.
