A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

hi i went out last week with some friends. me and this one guy started getting really close in the taxi on the way home, like we were holding hands and he kept trying to kiss me but i didnt want to because there were other people with us so i kept making excuses. i know he wanted to come home with me but i said no because i had to get up at like 6.30am (we didnt leave the club untill 3.30am).

thing is, i really like him but now ive blown my chance with him. we dont have each others phone numbers so havnt been in contact or spoken to each other since except tonight when i saw him briefly at work (we both work part-time in a nightclub). im gutted that ive blown my chances with him because if the opportunity arose again, i would go for it with him this time.

ok now dont judge me but id really like to "have some fun" with him, how can i let him know that im interested and that i was being genuine with my excuses for not kissing him and stuff last week? but i dont want to be too obvious if that makes sense

thanks xxx

Jubbaloo agony auntJust so you know, No one can judge you except you. And what would be the point of life if you can't have SAFE fun.

If he likes you too, then it shouldnt be a problem, how about inviting him out, or around for a meal. Just start txting him, txts are a very easy way of letting people how you feel, becuase you become more confident (for both of you)

Carpe Diem
