 If he wants to go in the airforce let him go. You messed up and he's obviously decided to get on with his life. The only thing you can do is show him you can be faithful and maybe he'll change his mind about ending it with you while he goes away.
It's harsh but unfortunetly that's life. You messed up, just like we all do at some point, and are now paying the consequences.
You can't change who you are for this guy. All you can do is show him you're sorry and can be faithful 100%!
