 One good way of boosting confidence is to join a club. i run bellydance classes where i get a wide variety of women big and small with all capabilities. all of these women came with little confidence but now they will happily dance in public. i suffered from the same thing but once i started dancing i had a lot more confidence and could face situation i would often avoid.

no worries.. just think of guys as another person juz like u.. dont think of them as a potential BF or anything out of ordinary.. just befriends with everyone, including the guys..
