My confidence in other areas is high to a point where im incredibly cocky. I just cant do this.BTW please don't tell me a bit of liquid courage will help...I don't drink

 first of all, you must work in improving you as a person, girls want to be with a condifent guy, so if you dont try to manage your insecurity it will be harder to get girls, they can smell desperation, so dont be.
you need to start going to places that you enjoy, so you will have a better chance to find a girl with your interests, and is easier if you break the ice with a topic you know and she likes too.
sometimes relationships happen when you least expect them, so dont go overboard with your search, just enjoy life, and you will eventually find her, best of luck.

First of all, girls like it when you compliment them so say ohh your dress is pretty or your hair looks good coz it shows some appreciation of their effort.
Talking to a girl is easy just talk to them as if they were your friend you know like heyyy whats up and ask about favourite things so basically find your common interest.
REMEMBER don't talk to a girl randomly like if you see a girl don't say hi, best places to find a girl other than clubbing is clubs like dancing clubs and many more, and please don't talk to a girl on facebook!!!!!!! Don't find one its important to talk to a girl face to face first before adding them on facebook or any social networking site coz you dunno what the person is like till you met them.
Honestly just try not to be overconfident but just have enough confident in you that you can make new friends, girls usually want to be friends with a guy first then date them.
