I am a 14 year old male who is uncircumsized and I can't pull my foreskin back all the way when it is erect only when it is flacid, I am really worried because I don't want this to affect my sex life, for I am a virgin and am going to start having sex soon... Should I pull it back everytime I shower little by little for a while so I can pull it all the way back when it is erect? I don't know if it's because my foreskin's tight or if the band of skin that attaches the foreskin and the head is too tight? please help!!!

Listen, i have the same problem, and im 14. And i'll admit,im not a virgin. Listen, when your time comes, before you even do anything, pulling your foreskin back is the first thing to do. That's what i did, and then i got erected afterwards. Easy.

I had the same problem a month ago, both my foreskin, and my frenulum (the band thats attatched to the penis) were to tight, my penis hurt like hell when i tried to move it back. All you need to do is stretch it everyday for about 5 minutes, it might hurt when your trying, dont try and force it, but just make it hurt a little bit, it will stretch and stretch day by day, or possibly week by week, but you will eventually get there.

im 16 btw and i have the same problem (and so did a freind of mine) i think that it miight be that the penis is growing to big for the forskin. i would give it a shot puling it back in the shower also if you jack off alot that would probs help and it also will build up your stamina ( make you last longer for sex)

ps. use a condom

A male reader, anonymous, writes (22 March 2008):

you'll be fine as long as you pull it back to wash.

your parents SHOULD have taught you to do that.

if it has trouble pulling back when you are hard, try gently pulling it back as far as it can comfortably go...

..in a month or so, it will loosen to the point of moving behind the head much more easily.

some men never do this, and have fine sex lives, but it will probably make your life easier if you do.

if the gentle stretching is taking too long, go to a doctor. he will prescribe you a cream that will help the skin stretch easier.

As a girl who has only been with those of the circumsized variety...I can't help you. Perhaps this link might help:

i had this when i was about that age....don't worry the skin will loosen up in time. The first few times i had sex it did feel quite tight and at one time a bit painful but it soon sorts itself out
