supposedly the guy puts his hands on your butt and you put your arms round his neck and make out. you push in close and turn your head on its side and put your tongue in. It can be as long as the two of you like and when your finished you just walk away.
A boy won't like you because you kissed him. I know it happens in some parts of Ireland but people do perfectly fine without it. You aren't ready to kiss him if you are nervous about it. Kisses that are important are spontaneous not planned. Planned ones tend to fail miserabley.

 I don't know what a 'meet' kiss is, but generally with a romantic kiss you don't open your mouth beforehand. Your lips should not be firmly closed either, mind you. Start with lips closed but 'loose' and then see what feels right, e.g. open your mouth a little and if it feels right you can use your tongue to feel his lips, touch his tongue. As long as you don't plunge your tongue straight in, or keep your lips firmly shut, I'm sure it will be fine. But only do all of this if it feels right! And take your time - there's no hurry so go at your own pace. Good luck and have fun x
