Husband has no time for family

Question - (15 December 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 15 December 2009)
A female United States age 51-59, anonymous writes:

My husband and I have been married over 20 years. He has never been very affectionate. But, my previous relationship was too affectionate, so I thought this was what I wanted. Anyway, he has never shown me a lot of attention, but lately it is worse. He prefers to spend more time with his "work family" than with his real family. He doesn't come home until late every night, usually around 10pm sometimes not until after midnight. He is not a drinker, but drinks excessively with these people. He doesn't even call me to let me know where he is going after work. Don't know what to do.

A female reader, Angzw Zimbabwe +, writes (15 December 2009):

I am assuming you have already told him how you feel? If so and he does not change his behaviour, let him come home one day and find you gone without letting him know where you are. Disappear for a full 48 hours, just leave a note that says "I'm so unhappy I need to think. I will return when I have figured out if I still want to live like this."

It might work or it might backfire. Only you know if he can live without you??

good luck
