reader, anonymous, writes (15 December 2009): At certain times during your cycle your cervix will be lower down than usual so he may have bumped it too hard and that has caused the pain.
If you are worried go and see a doctor or nurse and talk things through. They'll have heard/seen it all before and will be able to reassure you.
Pain after sex can be indicative of something more serious or just an infection so if it's still painful the next day then best get checked out. Your sexual health is really important.
