A male reader, The Realist Canada +, writes (3 March 2011):

The Realist agony auntThe best thing you can do is to start talking to guys who you are interested in. Be friendly and don't be afraid to just put yourself out there. Things should just work out and you will get a feel for the dating game again, but it will be easier if you get to know people first.

This will also give you time to regain your sense of indepence and want to be out by yourself looking for another guy. It is still relatively soon after the break up so I am guessing that the thoughts of how you two were together are still in your head. With a bit more time and seeing whats out there dating will come back naturally to you. You don't want to force it so just give it a bit more time and take things slow for now.
