I've liked this boy, on and off for about a year. He's really good friends with one of my friends, but he says he doesnt like her at all.. so does she, but in school she's trying to be close with him and he just cringes away. Anyway, i like him and he sort of likes me; the only thing stopping us is my friend. I want to get to know him more etc. but i can't when she's in the way. What can i do to get this boy, without hurting my friends feelings? It's been really bugging me recently because as soon as me and him start talking again, she's all over him :/

petina1 agony auntSounds like she is a bit jealous of you two. She doesnt want him but she doesnt want you two to get together. Three's never works. Let her know plainly and simply that you need to be with him by yourself for a little while and would she mind keeping out of the way so that you get the chance. If she can't do that for you then she is not a true friend.
