A male United Kingdom age 30-35, *annyp writes:

Okay, here's the story, ever since first year in school I've known this girl she was cool and I thought she 2 nothing like love or anything but when we had to do scottish dancing in first year I chose her as my partner then we did'nt speak for a while because was embarrassed about it, then 3 years later we got talking on msn and we realy felt like great mates. She was obsessed with disney so for her birthday I gave her a disney by this point I really liked her as in close to love but after I gave her the CD I walked away and she said I love you to me. You know maybe it wasn't serious but it still meant something to me.

Then someone in our class said oh what are you gonna kiss him now then I really thought I fucked it up but we continued to talk a lot on msn and in English and science but we never hung out in public. I eventually told my freinds how I felt and they thought it would be funny to send me a fake card from her on valentines day. She found out and was furious with my mates, one of my mates before that said they'd tell her but I told her he egged my house and she blocked him because I lied but if it was to make sure she didn't know it was worth it then I got a bad haircut accidently did'nt help my apearance especially with all my spots at the time.

Then eventually we just stopped talking all together and eventually I came clean and told her how I felt about the lies and everything and she just replied with yes, and okay I knew I'd blown it with her. This year valentines day 2008 will mark the last day we talked to each other on hers it says how she loves her new boyfreind and that she now officially knows what love feels like and it's so frustrating looking at him and thinking I could have been him.

The worst part is not knowing what she thinks and I don't think I'll ever love anyone else because I should have got over her after a year right?

I love her the most because shes the only girl I've ever liked when looks weren't the only reason I liked her can someone give me some advice or even tell me how to get her off my mind?

Just tell me what to do to get her back and I'll do it. thank you for reading

I think you just need to give it time. I remember thinking i was in love with some one it lasted for years but i eventually got over it and i now realise it wasn't love at all. No one can really make the feelings you have go away, You will get over her when your ready. If you were going to try and talk to her again just be yourself you can't do anymore than that!

Good luck hope it all works out for you

God sounds like you love this girl. i cant tell you how to get over someone dont think anyone can, time is a great healer and sometimes the only thing.

Your young and you will love again dont worry, you only have to see a pretty girl soon and you'll have forgot her name lol just keep your chin high and keep smiling, dont worry.

Good luck and just shout if you need any one to talk to
