A female Ireland age 30-35, *x-Ellie-xX writes:

I've been with my boyfriend for nearly a year but for the last while I've been off with him like he does mess and I take it seriously, I take what he says when messing seriously and I now get jealous Very easily, stuff like that. He doesn't deserve it and I don't want to be like this with him, but I can't control it? What should I do? I love him to bits but I can't seem to get out of this mood! it's really annoying me at this stage..

A male reader, anonymous, writes (27 November 2008):

It all starts with keeping your muth shut. That's how it worked for me anyways. If you show your jealousy you will actually push him away. Keep your mouth shut, love him and make him not want to desire anyone else, that's all you can do. If you do that and he still goes away, it was going to happen anyway but not because you screwed it up with your jealous behavior.
