 I have to ask why your Ex is your ex? What made it fail the first time that you think could be rectified by trying again? Children...yes, it's hard to fathom..I'm guessing he'd their father so you'd have to bide your time to see if it would work again...
For now, look after yourself, treat yourself with kindness, do things for YOU! Spa treatment (homemade works!) go to the movies, confide in your friends, people who know you offer much more appropriate advice than a website.
