A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

How do people kiss with their mouth closed? like, everything besides french kissing. are both lips supposed to be touching? should your lips interlock (like only kissing one of the lips)? basically, anything more than a peck but less than french kissing. like, in detail. thanks!

As a practical guide - pretend you are eating a juicy strawberry.

Emotionally - Relax and be yourself. Remember that whatever you are thinking will come out in your kiss.

Have fun!

Kissing isn't like that.

It's like asking "how in detail, do you form a connection with someone through conversation??"

It's different for everyone, and different people do different things. That's why kissing is so great, it's a way to get to know someone on a whole new level.

All this fear of doing it wrong is something we all have and it's all part of your first kiss experience.

So just go for it, and do what you feel is right, and you'll be fine.

Good Luck!! xx

A male reader, Fatherly Advice United States + , writes (8 January 2010):

Fatherly Advice agony auntDue to my literary shortcomings I'm not really going to answer your question. You did give me an opportunity to write something that should be said. You should kiss honestly. Every kiss should be a declaration of love. It should be based in your true feelings, and carry with it every ounce of that feeling. It should never be used to deceive someone. A kiss should not be given in order to make a person think you love them when you don't. If you kiss honestly then your technique won't matter. Another wrong way to kiss is to kiss selfishly. Holding back, or devouring greedily, or taking and not giving. To me it is the emotion that is satisfying about kissing. I hope you find this helpful.
