 The answer by "Sageoldguy1465" fairly sums it up. Just don't douche, which is unnecessary and causes an imbalance in your vaginal chemistry that soon causes many more problems than it solves. In order to clean up a little prior, finger yourself a bit to remove some of the vaginal (natural) residue.

 If you're self-conscious about any hair down there, you can shave it off...
But other than that, you should get mentally prepared, if your guy is too inexperienced, he might be to rough, and you have got to let him know right away. o.o Sometimes it's hard to say no, so hence my advice on mental preperation.
