I am 49-yr old male. I meet many girls in their 20's due to a common fellowship and a few of us have become freinds.

I don't just hit on every cute, fun girl I meet, they usually end up talking to me at some event and very soon give me their E-mail & phone numbers, and encourage me to use them ( "When you going to call me?" ; "Why don't you send me an E-mail joke or something?" )

Over time, and numerous talks, walks, camping events, dinner carry-ins etc. , a few ( one at a time, mind you ) have come over come over to watch football game(s), just me & her ! ! I do not just try to make out the first few times we are alone ! ! I am not that kind of guy.

I have fallen for a few and when I start to express that, I get completely shut down. (DOUBLE WTF over ?? )

I like slightly older men as a rule, but I have never been into the whole "father figure" thing.

I'd have nothing against having a fling with older man (now that I'm in my mid 20's) as long as he looked gorgeous and didn't act like a middle aged man. I don't think it would work long term though, not sure why.

Good Luck!! xx

I'm 20 and have dated men from age 20 to age 40. Current love interest is 31. To be completely honest, "older" men don't generally attract me physically but the maturity that comes with age and life experience does

i like older guys because guys mature slower then girls so if their older then their most likely at ur maturity level (not too much older) if theres a huge difference then its kinda creepy

How old are you talking? At 27 years old, the oldest I dated was 36 and the youngest I dated was 22. I dated them both in the same year. And the guy who was 36, not sure if it had to do with his age, but he had alot of quirks about him that I didn't like. And the guy who was 22, I was CRAZY about, just crazy about. But at that age, his head was somewhere else (for obvious reasons) and it didn't work out. But, wow, he was great.

But really regardless of age, I just like men who are interesting, creative, artistic, ambitious, CONFIDENT, don't get intimidated by me (or by anyone), just really confident, adventurous, who know what they want, who have lots of hobbies, like they play guitar, and they love music, and I like guys who are a little offbeat.

Oh but when I was about 16 or 17, I did develop a crush on this guy who was about in his 50's (I am not going to say his name). But weird, I know. He was a world reknowned surfer, and he taught me how to surf. I really liked him...But obviously nothing happened. He could have been my dad. But he was really sweet and kind of sexy and he was so passionate about surfing. I love passionate men! And he taught me to surf so well. And he took so much care in making sure that I did it the right way. I really liked him...

Basically, no matter what your age, if you are an interesting person, you will get girls...
