 You just open up your mouth and make words come out.
You talk about sports, school, annoying teachers, music, MTV, shows you like to watch, etc. It's not hard, don't be intimidated by the fact that they're boys. I mean you don't need to be talking to them about flat irons, just talk about stuff boys and girls can relate to. Which is all of the above that I have mentioned.

 Ignore the fact they're guys. After all they are just people! like me, you, your friends. I'd say its more about topic choice, dont try to impress by pretending to know about guy stuff though.. if you hate football tell them, they'll probably try to defend it... thus leading onto more conversation. The only worry with this is insulting them.. make sure all insults come across as jokey.. dont be to horrid... play with them like you would your friends... Banter always goes down well I find... they're used to it with their boy mates a lot of the time.. but of course be prepared for them to banter back...If you're not comfortable with leading the convo let them have the power, let them topic change, as long as you respond with something they can respond to... eg. Boy: "how're you then?" Girl: "Okay." End of conversation. In very simple terms but im sure you get my drift.just relax... take it easy, don't put too much pressure on the convo, its only a chat right? like with any one else... whether its with a boy or a girl...Hope that helps, x
