 Hey :) Ok for a start going out with your mates doesn't mean your obligated to start chatting guys up :) That is unless that's what you are after?
There's no set rules for chatting people up! It's always a start to go over and introduce yourself, ask the person about them selves even offer to buy them a drink. Starting off a light hearted conversation helps you judge whether the person is compatible and if you like them or not! Because obviously they might be hot in your eyes but they might be thee most boring person ever!!
Just relax and go out to enjoy your self don't make it a mission to pull :):)
